CAMERA WORK PROJECT, WHERE ALTERNATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY MEETS THE OLD PRINTING TECHNIQUES OF THE 1800s
Camera Work Project rediscovers alternative photography with 19th century photographic printing techniques. This is a project for the rediscovery of chemical photographic printing and of the so-called ancient techniques such as salt paper, collodion, carbon, bromoil, bichromate gum, cyanotype, platinum-palladium-type, albumin printing, dry plate and without excluding silver gelatine, which is now history too.
Camera Work Project offers courses and workshops to help you implement these techniques at home, even without having a professional darkroom.
Camera Work Project is a project by photographer Michele Pero. Discover the ancient photographic printing techniques of the 1800s and let’s revive together this almost disappeared world of chemical photographic printing.
